Thank you for attending* NHS England Patient and Public Voice (PPV) Partners Event 21st March 2018Read Now![]() NHS England Patient and Public Voice (PPV) Partners Event 21st March 2018 The changing role of public participation in a transforming NHS The Next Steps on the Five Year Forward View states “Making progress on our priorities and addressing the challenges the NHS faces over the next two years cannot be done without genuine involvement of patients and communities.” (March 2017) Over the last 5 years NHS England has developed relationships with over 800 PPV Partners who are part of our Committees, Working Groups, Advisory Groups and Clinical Reference Groups, amongst others. These valued relationships are central to all our work going forward. When we refer to ‘PPV Partners’ we mean patients, carers, service users and members of the public who get involved in our work on a regular basis. This event will also be open to PPV Partners who support CCGs and Trusts. We would like to invite you to the NHS England PPV Partners event on: Wednesday 21st March 2018 10am – 4pm Hilton Wembley, London This event is for all of NHS England PPV Partners and aims to:
This event is free for NHS England PPV Partners. Partners should seek transport booking and expenses to attend the event from the programme they support. (Please note that NHS England will cover reasonable expenses to enable you to attend this event, as set out in our PPV Partners Expenses Policy but we are not able to offer any involvement payments for attendance). If you are interested in contributing to the design and content of the day please contact us at england.nhs.participation@nhs.net and a member of the team will be in contact with you. We would also be grateful of your support in completing and sharing the links to this year’s surveys for NHS England PPV Partners and for Chairs of NHS England committees / groups / boards.
